Job summary

Pride-Health is actively hiring a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) for outpatient and emergency department coding. Remote 100% work, extendable contract, with a pay rate of $36-$38 per hour. Schedule includes weekend work and 3+ years of experience in acute care coding.

Responsibilities include outpatient and ED coding, ICD-10, CPT-4, payer guidelines, and using EPIC and 3M/HDS systems. Requires CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP certification and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.
• Acute care hospital coding experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
