Jobrapido is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder for a remote contract focused on outpatient and emergency department coding. The role requires strong ICD-10 expertise and familiarity with EPIC and 3M/HDS.

Candidate should be comfortable with a remote schedule and a possibility of weekend work as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience in a hospital setting, with knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines and payer requirements.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience.
• Strong outpatient acute care coding experience.
• Experience with ICD-10 coding.
• Proficiency with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accurate outpatient and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively.
