Job summary

Pride-Health is actively hiring a Certified Medical Coder (Remote) to support outpatient and ED coding for a hospital setting. This remote contract role requires 3 years of outpatient coding experience and proficiency with ICD-10, CPT-4, EPIC, and 3M/HDS systems.

The candidate will work 100% remotely with a schedule 8:00 AM-4:00 PM and potential weekend work. Preference for CCS/RHIA/RHIT/CCP certifications and acute care hospital coding background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience.
• CCS or RHIA, RHIT, CCP certification required
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/HDS systems
• Acute care hospital coding experience

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate outpatient, and ED medical coding.
• Review and assign ICD-10, CPT-4, and related codes.
• Ensure compliance with payer, federal, and coding guidelines.
• Research and resolve coding-related issues.
• Utilize EPIC and 3M/HDS coding applications effectively
