Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a fully remote Scheduling Associate to pre-register patients, manage multiple calls, and transfer information across systems. The role supports outpatient visits, procedures, and other department schedules from a home-based setting.

The position requires strong computer skills, high typing speed, and excellent customer service. Remote interview via Teams is required and some on-site meetings may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR (4) years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of (2) years of revenue cycle experience and/or (2) years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other appointments captured by the department.
• Transcribe any external orders from Physician.
• Handle high call volumes for multiple locations and departments.
• Utilize multiple systems to perform all scheduling functions as needed.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information.
• Input patient data accurately and verify insurance benefits.
