Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Remote Patient Scheduler to efficiently pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, and procedures across multiple locations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum 2 years revenue cycle experience and/or 2 years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and pre-registers patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department bookings.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians and handle high call volumes across locations.
• Provide patients with preparation and location information, and input patient data accurately.
• Validate patient insurance and explain benefits as needed.
• Manage multiple phone calls, transfers, and conferences between parties.
• Act as a mentor for new hires and uphold Intermountain Health values.
