Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support seeks a remote, full-time associate to manage patient therapy, prior authorization, and reimbursement inquiries. You will handle complex questions with discretion, ensuring timely follow-up with patients, pharmacies, and physicians across a national network.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Training covers policies, compliance, and cross-functional coordination within Cardinal Health’s patient

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an in-depth understanding of patient therapy, prior authorization and reimbursement processes.
• Manages a queue of technical or complex therapy and reimbursement questions from customers and resolves issues within authority.
• Meets KPIs for service levels, call volumes, adherence and quality standards.
• Follows up with patients, pharmacies, physicians and other support organizations as needed regarding inquiries.
• Handles sensitive information with discretion including prescriptions, personal information and insurance data.
• Escalates highly complex issues to senior team members and leadership.
