Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts and provide comfort and support to individuals and families nationwide. This fully remote role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-volume calls.

You will be responsible for recording details, dispatching responses, and maintaining accurate records while following protocols. The position starts on November 30th, 2026, with a 3rd shift and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings.
• Shifts: 3rd shift, weekend availability required.
• Remote role with minimum internet speeds: 50 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls following protocols.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms; offer care during stressful situations.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services.
• Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive materials.
• Talk and type while navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Complete new hire training and pass compliance testing.
