Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts and provide comfort and support to members nationwide. This fully remote role requires empathy, clear communication, and the ability to handle high-call volume in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage calls, document interactions, and help with preventative health guidance while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Weekend availability and 3rd shift support are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
• Remote capability with minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, following protocols to determine priorities.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system to ensure records are accurate.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively inquire about and recommend preventative healthcare services.
• Manage access to highly sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens and systems.
• Complete new hire training and pass all required compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
