Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to join our fully remote team. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency alerts, provide compassionate support, and document interactions in real-time. The role requires strong communication, empathy under pressure, and the ability to multitask across screens and systems.

The ideal candidate has 0–1 year in customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and reliable internet. Weekend availability and 3rd shift duty are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare setting.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
• Remote role requires reliable internet and ability to handle multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls following protocols.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms with genuine care.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages in real time in a database.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to members.
• Verify and update customer information to ensure records accuracy.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively discuss preventative healthcare services with members.
• Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens.
• Complete new hire training and pass compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
