Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to respond to alerts, provide comfort, and support families nationwide from a fully remote hub. The role starts at $15/hr and requires weekend shifts, with first shift coverage and a strong emphasis on compassionate service.

Ideal candidates bring 0–1 year in customer service, high school education, and proficiency with CRM tools. Training and compliance are mandatory to ensure accurate, confidential handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare settings.
• Schedules: Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
• Remote Capability: Minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls per protocols to determine priorities and dispatch responses.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of medical alerts and alarms, offering genuine care during stressful moments.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system to keep records accurate.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively discuss preventive healthcare services with members.
• Handle sensitive materials with strict confidentiality.
• Talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple screens.
• Complete new hire training and pass compliance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
