Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Care Center Representative to join our remote team. The role starts November 30, 2026 and offers 2nd shift with one required weekend day.

Compensation starts at $16 per hour and the position is fully remote, nationwide across eligible states. You will answer emergency and non-emergency calls, provide compassionate support, document interactions in real time, and maintain confidentiality while assisting members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center or healthcare setting.
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as needed.
• Proficient typing (35 WPM) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls following protocols to determine priorities and dispatch responses.
• Provide compassionate customer support using scripted and non-scripted responses.
• Monitor a high volume of alerts and alarms, offering care during stressful situations.
• Record call details, dispatches, and messages in real-time with accuracy.
• Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive member experience.
• Verify and update customer information in the system to ensure records accuracy.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and report issues for timely maintenance.
• Proactively discuss preventive healthcare services with members.
• Manage access to sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality.
• Complete new hire training and comply with testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
