Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented New Call/Follow Up Specialist to join Cox Fleet. You’ll manage inbound calls, accurately capture customer requirements during the initial contact, and ensure precise data entry including unit location and billing details.

This full-time, remote role supports a 24/7/365 operations environment. Training runs Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm ET, with class dates November 2 and December 7, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and up to 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Preferred: degree in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls promptly and professionally.
• Accurately gather and follow customer requirements during the initial call.
• Enter data accurately, recording the unit location and other details.
• Ensure accurate billing information is communicated to the service provider.
• Handle estimates promptly and accurately.
• Make outbound calls to obtain updates on open events.
• Keep customers updated on event status and follow their instructions.
• Collaborate with the roadside dispatcher when problems arise.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.
