Job summary

Mindrift in Australia is seeking a senior CAD engineer to help train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.

You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts, working alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build. This remote freelance role offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years hands-on CAD modelling experience with major CAD tools.
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English level B2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Design part geometry for long engineering tasks.
• Build reference solutions and judge agent attempts.
