Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a highly capable CAD engineer to help train and evaluate AI agents that operate inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts, working alongside CFD engineers who simulate your geometry.

This fully remote freelance role offers up to $69 per hour, with about 10–20 hours weekly during active phases, plus performance bonuses and the flexibility to set your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 5+ years CAD modelling using CATIA/SolidWorks/Siemens NX/Creo or similar.
• Active professional CAD license required.
• Proficient in Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.
