Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a skilled CAD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents operating in a real CAD environment on extended engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and assess the agent's attempts, working alongside CFD engineers who simulate your geometry.

The role supports fully remote collaboration with flexible hours and project-based compensation. You will apply your CAD expertise on diverse, real-world technology projects for a global platform.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's or PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional CAD modelling experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar.
• An active professional CAD licence is required.
• Proficiency in Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that operate inside a CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts.
• Collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
