Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a skilled CAD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents inside a real CAD environment. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and assess agent performance on long engineering tasks alongside CFD engineers.

The role is fully remote and requires strong CAD experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, Creo) and proficiency in Python and GitHub, with an active CAD license and English at least at B2 level. Compensation is project-based with hourly rates up to $69.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar).
• Active CAD license required.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents in a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge agent attempts.
• Collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry built by the agent.
• Contribute to performance-based evaluation and quality assurance.
