Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CAD-focused engineer to train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on complex engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts, collaborating closely with CFD engineers who simulate your geometry.

The role requires 5+ years in CAD modelling, a valid CAD licence, and strong Python/GitHub skills, with English at least at B2 level. This is a fully remote freelance project with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar).
• Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus.
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Proficiency in Python and GitHub.
• English level at least B2.

Responsibilities
