Job summary

Mindrift is seeking an experienced CAD modelling engineer to train and evaluate AI agents working inside a real CAD environment. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and assess the agent's performance on long engineering tasks.

You will collaborate with CFD engineers simulating your geometry, with 10–15 hours of expert work per task and fully remote scheduling. A Master’s/PhD is a plus, and an active CAD licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar).
• Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus.
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

• Train and evaluate AI agents inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge agent attempts.
• Collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
