Trimble, in partnership with Transporeon, seeks a Business Development Representative to bridge marketing and sales across North America. You will identify opportunities, qualify leads, and help build a growing pipeline for transportation technology solutions.

This remote role requires collaboration with global teams, attendance at trade shows, and ongoing outreach to drive growth. Expect 20% travel and a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting Trimble’s logistics platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for starting or advancing a career in business development, software sales, or customer engagement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a natural ability to connect with diverse prospects.
• High self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management skills to handle multiple outreach streams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and nurture new sales opportunities via inbound/outbound prospecting.
• Conduct discovery calls and demos to identify needs and qualify prospects.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to analyze trends and craft outreach in key verticals.
• Represent Transporeon and Trimble at trade shows to engage prospects and generate onsite meetings.
• Coordinate with global teams across time zones to align on pipeline growth.
