Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support our Training Services Team. This remote role welcomes bilingual English/Spanish speakers and serves learners, instructors, and organizations across the United States. The position starts on or around January 4, 2027, with a schedule of 4–5 days per week and shifts from 12:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with difficult customers.
• Proficiency using computer applications to meet customer needs in a fast-paced home-based call center.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners, instructors, and organizations.
• Use system data and job aids to resolve inquiries and update records.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance and class information.
• Maintain daily production standards: AHT, calls/hour, emails/hour, and quality.
• Triage complex issues and route callers as needed.
