Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agents to support the Training Services Team. This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States and starts around January 4th, 2027. You will answer calls and emails, resolve issues, and help maintain service metrics while supporting volunteers.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset. Hours are 12:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service/call center experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from home in a fast-paced virtual call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners, instructors, and organizations.
• Use system data to update records and resolve inquiries.
• Handle basic inquiries (account maintenance, class info, usage issues).
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, calls per hour, emails).
• Triage complex problems and route callers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
