Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support the Training Services Team. This remote role welcomes candidates across the United States and emphasizes exceptional customer service and bilingual communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities include handling inbound calls and emails, updating records, and meeting production targets while adhering to procedures and regulations. Flexible schedules typically involve 4–5 days per week with evening hours.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred, or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work with diverse customers.
• Proficiency with computer applications and rapid data entry in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners and instructors and resolve inquiries.
• Use training materials and system data to update records and document resolutions.
• Handle basic inquiries like account maintenance and class information.
• Maintain daily production standards for call handling and email metrics.
• Triage complex problems and route calls as needed.
