Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support its Training Services Team. This remote, nationwide role requires bilingual English and Spanish and focuses on delivering outstanding customer service to learners and instructors.

Responsibilities include answering inbound calls and emails, updating records, and maintaining performance metrics. The schedule runs 4–5 days weekly, with shifts in the afternoon/evening ET.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required or highly preferred.
• Proficiency with computer applications in a fast-paced work-from-home environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails from learners and instructors, resolving issues.
• Update account records and note reason and resolution of inquiries.
• Maintain production standards: AHT, calls/hour, emails/hour, quality.
• Route complex problems and escalate as needed.
• Support and guide volunteers as appropriate.
