Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agents to support our Training Services Team. This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States and will start around January 4, 2027.

As a bilingual English/Spanish agent, you will handle inbound calls and emails, perform basic account maintenance, and help learners and instructors while meeting production targets. Schedule includes 4–5 days per week, 25+ hours, with shifts 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent required or related experience.
• Experience: 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center preferred or equivalent.
• Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service and problem-solving; strong verbal and written communication; ability to work with potentially difficult customers; proficient in using computer applications in a fast-paced work-from-home call center environment; team player.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email inquiries from Training Services learners, prospective learners, instructors, and instructor organizations.
• Use information from computer systems and job aids to provide resolution, update records and note resolution.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance, class information and RCLC usage issues.
• Maintain daily production standards: AHT, Calls/Hour, Email/Hour, Online Time, Quality.
• Triage complex problems and route callers to appropriate resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
