Elevance Health is seeking a Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I to deliver 24/7 EAP and behavioral health support for up to 10 million lives. This virtual, full-time role includes crisis intervention, member assessment, and referrals with occasional in-person trainings.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Current unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor, in applicable state(s) required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to initial client requests for EAP services and assesses needed action.
• Provides crisis intervention support by phone or on-site and facilitates referrals.
• Manages Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests.
• Assists members in accessing behavioral health benefits under their health plan.
• Manages shared mailbox used by clients and vendor for documentation.
