Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I to provide 24/7 behavioral health and employee assistance services to up to 10 million lives. This virtual, full-time role includes required in-person trainings and policy-aligned onboarding.

Responsibilities include responding to client requests, crisis intervention, incident debriefing, and guiding members to behavioral health benefits. A HS diploma and 3+ years of psychiatric/substance abuse experience, plus an unrestricted

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience.
• Current unrestricted license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor in applicable state(s) required.
• MA/MS preferred as an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Responds to initial client contacts and requests for services in the EAP.
• Provides telephone or on-site crisis intervention and short-term problem resolution.
• Manages Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests.
• Assists members in accessing behavioral healthcare benefits under their plan.
• Manages shared mailbox for client communications and documentation.
