Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an Afterhours Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I to provide 24/7 behavioral health and employee assistance services for up to approximately 10 million lives. This remote role supports virtual work with occasional in-person training and requires availability for the specified evening/overnight shifts.

Primary duties include responding to requests for services, crisis support, referrals, managing incident debriefings, and helping members access benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in psychiatric/substance abuse work.
• Current unrestricted license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor.

Responsibilities

• Respond to initial client contacts for EAP services and assess needs.
• Provide phone and on-site crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
• Manage Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests.
• Help members access behavioral health benefits under their plan.
• Oversee a shared mailbox used by clients and external vendors.
