Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking self-motivated Business Development Representatives to join a fully remote, high-energy sales team.

You will identify and qualify consignor leads, then pass them to the appropriate sales channel to close consignments. Daily duties include nurturing leads via phone, text, and email, educating prospects on the consignment process and brand acceptance, and working a weekend shift (Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu).

Qualifications

• Professional phone demeanor and high level of professionalism.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization; adaptable communicator.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with G-Suite, Email, Salesforce, or CRM tools.
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Growth mindset with adaptability.
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for prospective clients (leads) interested in consigning at The RealReal.
• Qualify marketing generated leads though daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business.
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email.
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps.
