Job summary

The RealReal is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative to qualify leads and hand them to the right sales channel for consignment growth. This fully remote role supports EST time zones and requires weekend availability.

Expect an hourly base with uncapped commissions and ongoing training in client education and follow-up. Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, professionalism, and experience with CRM tools, helping consignors understand pricing and brand

• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, Salesforce CRM.
• Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment.

• Adaptability and openness to change.
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for prospective clients interested in consigning at The RealReal.
• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business.
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email.
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps.
