Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking self-motivated Business Development Representatives to qualify leads and pass to sales to close consignors. This fully remote role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to prospecting and follow-up.

You will nurture leads, educate them on consignments, pricing, and the process, and coordinate with the right sales channel to convert inquiries into new business.

• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Must be able to work one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for prospective clients interested in consigning.
• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business.
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email.
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps.
