Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking self-motivated individuals for the Business Development Representative role on a fully remote, sales-driven team. You will qualify leads and pass to the right sales channel to convert consignors, while delivering exceptional customer service.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills; ability to tailor communication style to suit all audiences.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM.
• Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment.
• A solutions-focused mentality with a growth mindset.
• Adaptability and openness to change.
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week).
• Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for prospective clients (leads) interested in consigning at The RealReal
• Qualify marketing generated leads though daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email
• Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps
