Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to bridge marketing and sales, identifying new opportunities and connecting industry leaders with Transporeon and Trimble's transportation technology solutions.

This remote US role focuses on accelerating growth across North America and collaborating with global teams to expand the pipeline. You will engage potential customers, conduct discovery calls, and partner with Marketing to craft compelling outreach across key industry

Qualifications

• Identify, evaluate, and nurture new sales opportunities through proactive inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
• Conduct initial discovery calls and demonstrations to identify customer needs, qualify prospects, and seamlessly transition deals to sales representatives.
• Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to analyze market trends, craft compelling messaging, and drive strategic outreach in key industry verticals.
• Engage regularly with global team members across international time zones to align on pipeline growth and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong passion for starting or advancing a career in business development, software sales, or customer engagement.
• High self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management skills to handle multiple outreach streams effectively.
