Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to bridge marketing and sales, generating opportunities for Transporeon and Trimble's transportation tech solutions.

This remote role targets North America, with travel up to 20% and a focus on SaaS-based logistics products. You will qualify inbound leads, perform discovery calls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate the sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales development or lead qualification is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales platforms.
• Experience attending trade shows or industry conferences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and nurture new sales opportunities through proactive inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
• Conduct initial discovery calls and demonstrations to identify customer needs, qualify prospects, and transition deals to sales reps.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to analyze market trends, craft messaging, and drive strategic outreach in key verticals.
• Engage with global team members across time zones to align on pipeline growth and cross-functional initiatives.
• Show passion for starting or advancing a career in business development, software sales, or customer engagement.
• Demonstrate high self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management to handle multiple outreach streams.
