Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is expanding its business development team and seeking self-motivated individuals with excellent communication to qualify leads for consignors.

This fully-remote role requires a strong phone presence, organized outreach, and the ability to pass qualified leads to the correct sales channel for closing consignments. You will nurture prospects via phone, text, and email, educate them on the consignment process, brands accepted, and pricing expectations.

Qualifications

• High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable using G-Suite, Email, Salesforce and CRM software.
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset and adaptability.
• Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week) and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for prospective clients interested in consigning.
• Qualify marketing-generated leads through daily outreach and field inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close consignments.
• Nurture leads with ongoing follow-up via phone, text and email.
• Educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps.
