Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to qualify leads and pass to the sales channel for consignors.

This fully remote role is ideal for customer-focused individuals who thrive in a competitive sales environment and can manage outreach, follow-ups, and information education for prospective clients. You will be the first point of contact, nurturing leads via phone, text, and email, using internal tools to explain the consigning process, accepted brands, pricing

Qualifications

• High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization; tailor communication to audience.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using G-Suite, Email, Salesforce, CRM.
• Self-motivation and drive in a fast-paced environment.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) and ability to work one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for prospective clients interested in consigning.
• Qualify marketing generated leads through daily outreach and inbound inquiries.
• Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close consignments.
• Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email.
• Educate leads on the consignment process, brands accepted, and pricing expectations.
