Job summary

Securly is hiring a remote U.S.-based BDR to own the top of the funnel and start conversations with K-12 districts. The role offers $90,000 OTE ($60k base + $30k variable) and a structured ramp with coaching.

You'll qualify leads, run multi-touch outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, hand qualified opportunities to Account Executives, and collaborate with Marketing and RevOps in a high-volume, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume outbound sales or SDR/BDR roles preferred
• Interest in K-12 EdTech or SaaS sales
• Ability to research prospects and personalize outreach

Responsibilities

• Reach out via phone, email, and LinkedIn to K-12 decision-makers
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads for interest, urgency, and fit
• Tell the story with outcomes, customer stories, and market data
• Handle objections by listening and tailoring conversations
• Keep CRM clean in Salesforce and Outreach.io; use GovSpend and AI Gems for research
• Hand off qualified meetings to Sales in partnership with Marketing and RevOps
• Keep improving with coaching and peer feedback
