Job summary

Securly is hiring a remote, U.S.-based BDR to help protect students with the Securly safetyOS. This role focuses on qualifying contacts, initiating conversations with district leaders, and handing qualified opportunities to Account Executives. You’ll report to the Director of Business Development and collaborate with Marketing and RevOps.

It’s a fully remote, high-activity role with structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and a clear path to growth within Sales and adjacent GTM functions.

Responsibilities

• Reach out: run high-volume, multi-touch outreach by phone, email, and LinkedIn to K-12 decision-makers
• Qualify: assess inbound and outbound leads for interest, urgency, and fit
• Tell the story: share outcomes, customer stories, and market data that show why safetyOS matters
• Handle objections: listen first and tailor each conversation to what the district cares about
• Keep it clean: track your work in Salesforce and Outreach.io, using GovSpend and AI Gems for research
• Hand off well: pass qualified meetings to Sales smoothly, in partnership with Marketing and RevOps
• Keep improving: use coaching, data, and your peers to get sharper every week
