Job summary

Securly is hiring for a fully remote, U.S.-based BDR who will own top-of-funnel outreach to school districts, qualify leads, and hand off opportunities to Account Executives. The role emphasizes coaching, data-driven improvement, and a path from BDR to AE or related GTM roles.

You will collaborate with Marketing and RevOps, use Salesforce and Outreach.io, and operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment focused on student safety through the safetyOS platform.

Qualifications

• Experience doing high-volume outbound outreach by phone, email, or social channels.
• Ability to qualify inbound and outbound leads and move them through the funnel.
• K-12 EdTech exposure is strongly preferred and education industry interest is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to K-12 decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Qualify leads for interest, urgency, and fit.
• Tell stories with outcomes and customer data to illustrate safetyOS value.
• Handle objections with tailored conversations.
• Track work in Salesforce and Outreach.io; utilize GovSpend and AI Gems for research.
• Hand off qualified meetings to Account Executives with Marketing/RevOps support.
• Pursue ongoing coaching and data-driven improvement weekly.
