Valenz Health is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative – Employer Markets to help build our growth pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective employers, brokers, and consultants across the employee benefits market. Qualifications

• 2+ years in business development or related field in healthcare.
• Ability to initiate conversations and build relationships with prospects.
• Strong communication, discovery questioning, and persistence in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective employers, brokers, consultants and priority contacts via outbound channels.
• Build targeted prospect lists based on market priorities and ICPs.
• Generate interest by mapping client challenges to Valenz Health solutions to create qualified meetings.
• Develop approaches to reach decision-makers and expand Valenz presence in priority organizations.
• Conduct discovery to understand needs, timing, and decision processes.
• Qualify opportunities and hand off to Sales leaders with context.
• Nurture engaged but not sales-ready prospects for future opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing to convert campaigns into qualified opportunities.
• Maintain accurate activity in Salesforce.
