Help Scout is hiring a Business Development Representative to fuel our sales-led outbound motion. You’ll open conversations with mid-market prospects, shape the outbound playbook, and drive pipeline for Account Executives across multi-channel outreach.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of outbound BDR/SDR experience in a B2B SaaS company.
• Prospected into 250+ employees and tailored messaging by industry/title.
• Experience using AI tools for research, list-building, or writing is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with prospects and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Research and personalize outreach using an AI tech stack; tailor messaging.
• Manage multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, video).
• Test, iterate, and track campaigns to improve conversion rates.
• Provide regular reports and dashboards on results and progress toward targets.
• Partner with Account Executives to hand off sourced meetings with documented context.
