Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Applications Trainer to deliver software and service training for customers and employees during product installations and conversions.

Training may occur at customer sites, online, or at Jack Henry locations, with remote flexibility within a 70-mile radius of listed office locations. The role requires 4 years in software applications training or banking/payments and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in software applications training or in the banking/payments industry.
• Ability to travel 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Delivers software and service training courses or workshops via a virtual training environment and onsite at customer locations.
• Spends time preparing selected training materials and environment for use during live and web-based training sessions.
• Tests and maintains software for training purposes.
• Provides customer follow-up during training. May act as knowledge contact for customers during project.
• Creates and customizes curriculum and procedures for each customer situation, and may consult with the customer for appropriate customization.
• Makes changes to curriculum based on customer feedback and needs assessment.
• Seeks increased knowledge of features and functions of products and services. Increases knowledge of current training techniques and practices.
• Keeps current on product changes, upgrades, and industry trends.
