Job summary

Safelite is seeking remote customer service professionals to handle inbound calls, verify insurance details, and schedule glass repair or recalibration while following scripted prompts. This fully remote role requires a dedicated workspace and reliable internet, with training Monday through Friday during the initial weeks.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses, a 401(k) with company matching, tuition reimbursement, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working in a highly structured performance-based environment.
• Knowledge of computer and telephone systems for remote work.
• Desire to establish rapport with customers and peers.
• Ability to read and use scripts in conversation.
• Demonstrates integrity and a helpful attitude.
• Willingness to assist customers with a caring mindset.
• Previous experience in customer service or contact center roles.
• 16+ years of age and actively enrolled or completed high school.

Responsibilities

• Professionally answers inbound calls from customers, policyholders, insurance agents, or auto glass shops using scripts.
• Enter claim data into production systems while on a live call.
• Guide customers through filing a glass claim, building rapport and addressing needs.
• Verify insurance coverage and deductible amounts and communicate details to the customer.
• Assist with scheduling repair, replacement, or recalibration services at a Safelite location or non-Safelite shop.
• Utilize provided systems and resources to enhance the customer experience.
• Provide solutions to resolve customer complaints during the call.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
