Job summary

Safelite is hiring for a remote customer support role starting January 2027. You will handle inbound calls, verify insurance details, and guide customers through glass claim processes from home.

The position requires a structured, ethical approach, strong communication, and the ability to work with scripts. Training is provided and benefits include 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable in a highly structured, performance-based environment with strong ethics and confidentiality.
• Experience operating computer and telephone systems in a remote setting.
• Ability to build rapport with customers, stores and peers with a service mindset.
• Able to read scripts and respond conversationally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Professionally answers inbound calls from customers, policyholders, insurance agents, or auto glass shops using scripted prompts.
• Enters claim data accurately into production systems during live calls.
• Guides customers through filing a glass claim, building rapport and addressing individual needs.
• Verifies insurance coverage and deductible amounts and communicates the results to customers.
• Assists customers with scheduling repair and related services at Safelite locations or partner shops.
• Uses provided tools to improve the overall customer experience.
• Provides solutions to resolve complaints and concerns during calls.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
