Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Auto Claims Advisor for a remote role. You will handle non-injury auto claims, verify coverages, conduct liability investigations, and keep members informed about claim status. Training is paid and remote, with Pacific Time hours.

Role requires strong customer service experience, ability to work flexible shifts, and good communication. Bilingual ability is a plus; travel for meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer facing virtual environment leveraging internet, phone and chat features.
• Capability to train and perform the job in a remote setting and meet work-from-home requirements.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work any shift during 24/7 operating hours, including evenings and/or weekends and holidays.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Willing to have cameras for onboarding and certain meetings.
• Willingness to travel for role and meetings.
• Willingness to fulfill business needs, including extra time and helping other teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles auto and property damage claims.
• Handle a diary system to review and resolve claims within state guidelines.
• Manage an inventory of claims.
• Open claims and obtain information from insured, claimant, and others.
• Explain policy, coverage and appropriate next steps to customers.
• Document claim files and communicate with customers and repair facilities.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and SOPs.
