Travelers is seeking an Outside Auto Appraiser to inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and determine actual cash value for settlements. This remote role supports auto claim staff and interacts with body shops and customers to deliver accurate, timely results.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in auto damage appraisal, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office. Travel may be required to support on-site inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Active adjuster license where applicable.
• Two years of auto physical damage appraisal experience.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage through on-site or virtual inspections at body shops or customer locations.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software.
• Evaluate and settle vehicle total losses by determining actual cash value.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with shops and claimants to ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with claim representatives, body shops, and vendors to coordinate repairs.
