Job summary

Pennant Services is seeking an AR Supervisor to lead Medicaid and managed care billing across multiple states, ensuring accurate, timely submission, denial management, and reimbursement. This role partners with Business Office Managers and market leaders to optimize the revenue cycle while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The position supports a remote/hybrid work model and requires strong leadership, cross-state workflow coordination, and expertise in Medicaid billing practices for senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, AR, Medicaid or managed care billing.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing Medicaid billing across multiple states.
• Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs, MCOs, eligibility, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle AR for assigned communities.
• Ensure timely Medicaid and managed care claims submission and reimbursement.
• Audit AR and billing practices for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor denials, aging, and reimbursement trends; present performance reports.
• Provide training and coaching to AR staff and field leadership.
• Collaborate with state Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations, and operations teams.
• Support audit readiness and respond to Medicaid, payer, and internal audits.
