Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking an AR Supervisor to oversee accounts receivable, Medicaid and managed care billing, and collections across a multi-state portfolio of senior living communities. You will ensure accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and regulatory compliance while guiding Medicaid revenue cycle activities and audits.

Lead a team, monitor KPIs like aging and denials, and collaborate with leadership to optimize reimbursement outcomes and processes across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Admin, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle, AR, Medicaid or managed care billing.
• Minimum 2 years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience managing Medicaid billing across multiple states.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid waivers, enrollments, and reimbursement methods.
• Experience with claim submission, denials, appeals, and revenue recovery.
• Experience in assisted living or healthcare environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable for assigned communities.
• Audit AR and billing practices for accuracy, compliance, and reimbursement.
• Monitor collections, aging, denials, and reimbursement activity.
• Prepare and present AR, Medicaid, and managed care performance reports.
• Lead Medicaid and managed care billing across multiple states.
• Manage denial handling, recoupments, and reimbursement discrepancies.
• Provide training and coaching to AR staff and managers.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and program requirements.
