Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company, led by Jyoti Bansal, driving AI-powered software delivery globally. The AppSec Sales Engineer serves as the technical liaison between sales and engineering to articulate the platform and achieve commercial relationships.

You will deliver demos focused on AppSec and API/AI security, drive evaluations, and ensure customer success in adopting security products across the SDLC. Willingness to travel and security tooling expertise are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools (API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Ability to convey customer security requirements to Engineering and travel occasionally for engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and Runtime Protection.
• Evangelize the Harness AI-Native DevSecOps platform, including AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities.
• Connect security risks and compliance problems to technical solutions within the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Drive technical engagements, such as workshops and POVs, to prove Harness's value across the SDLC.
