Job summary

Harness is hiring an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering for our AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will deliver platform demos focused on Application Security Testing and runtime protection, and articulate how Harness reduces security debt and manages API/AI risks.

You will lead technical engagements, translate security requirements to Engineering, and travel for customer engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales for SaaS security products.
• Hands-on with modern AppSec practices and tools.
• Ability to translate security requirements to Engineering.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.
• Strong communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver platform demos focused on AppSec and runtime protection within DevSecOps.
• Advocate Harness AI-Native DevSecOps, covering SCA, SAST, DAST, runtime protection.
• Link security risks and compliance to technical solutions across the SDLC.
• Lead workshops and POVs to prove Harness value from code to operation.
