Job summary

Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering for its AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will deliver platform demos focused on AppSec, SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection to security and business audiences.

The role requires experience in SaaS pre-sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, ability to translate security requirements into technical solutions, and willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity domains.
• Hands-on with modern application security practices and tools such as API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA.
• Able to translate customer security requirements to Engineering.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and runtime protection within DevSecOps.
• Evangelize Harness AI-Native DevSecOps platform, highlighting AppSec and API security capabilities.
• Connect security risks and compliance to technical solutions across the SDLC.
• Drive technical engagements like workshops to prove value of security across code to operation.
